CRIME NEWS
SOUTHEAST TEXAS
While democrats are pushing for judges like
KETANGI BROWN (SC) that 'feel sorry'
for child rapists and pedos, TEXAS is
prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law.
For example, A 50 old Orange, TX man was
sentenced to federal prison for child
pornography violations in the Eastern
District of Texas. According to an
announcement from US Attorny Brit
Featherston, JOSHUA WELCH, 50,
pleaded guilty on Sept. 20, 2021, to
PRODUCTION OF CHILD
PORNOGRAPHY and was sentenced to
240 MONTHS in federal prison on March
24, 2022 by US District Judge Marcis A.
Crone. According to information presented
in court, federal agents in Beaumont, TX
received information from federal agents in
Syracuse, NY, regarding an internet user
who had uploaded images containing child
pornography and sent them to another user.
An investigation had determined the initial
sender of the material was in Orange, TX.
On May 17, 2021 federal agents issued a
search warrant on East Ashford Park in
Orange, TX and encountered Welch. Welch
admitted to producing the child
pornography, downloading, and visiting
internet websites to view other child
pornography.
Investigated by Homeland Security
Investigations and the Orange County
Sheriff's Office and prosecuted by Assistant
US Attorney Rachel Grove.1
We need more judges like District Juddge
Marcis A. Crone who get tougher on
pornographers and pedos, because the
internet allows easier access to obtain and
distribute porn. NOT softer sentences or
show any pity for these predators who
exploit children.
